I remember my dad having a riding lawn mower with a trailer attached to it that looked like a small trolley. I think my Grandpa made the trailer. My dad would pull it up and down the streets in our neighborhood and let all the kids ride on it. We thought it was the coolest thing ever.
I remember being about 6 or 7 years old and deciding with my neighborhood friends to dig a swimming pool in the field behind my house. We got out there with our shovels and dug a big old hole, then dragged hoses from my house and the house that was diagonal from my backyard, right next door to the lot we dug the "swimming pool" in. We were maybe 10 minutes into filling the hole with water before our mothers realized what was going on. By this time, most of us were covered with mud from gleefully splashing around in our new pit of mud.

I remember going on a triple date to my junior year boyfriend's Homecoming. We went with his brother & his date, and their friend & the friend's date. The friend and his date talked about s-e-x the entire time we were eating dinner, and since I was still in high school and still pretty innocent, I was scandalized. After the dance we went back to this friend's house where he and his girlfriend layed behind a bar and made out, and his brother & his date made out behind the couch we were sitting on. These two jokers only came up for air when it was to harass my boyfriend about why isn't he groping me on the couch. Anyway, the thing that brought this memory back, was seeing the friend again....this time in a KFC commercial.
